Luca's 4th Birthday Party

Luca turned four on July 15. We had a small party in our neighborhood on July 18th. Thanks to everyone who helped him celebrate all week long!

Luca's pre-school held a joint celebration for all 10 kids w/ July and August birthdays.

Later that day, he joined Jadis at Yoyogi park to celebrate her 4th.

Background: On Tanabata (July 7th), kids write their wishes on tanzaku (短冊), small pieces of paper that they hang on bamboo branches.
